The idea was never the hard part.

40 years building, losing, and rebuilding businesses — hair, coffee, a cottage kitchen — taught me the system nobody puts on a vision board. This is that system, laid out so you can use it.

My Story

I've built businesses from nothing. I've also watched someone take an idea of mine, open it somewhere else in town, and close within a year — while mine is still standing.

The idea was never the hard part. What decided whether I survived was everything nobody talks about: my location, my overhead, and how badly I was willing to fight for it.

There were nights I ran on four hours of sleep, walking back and forth between two businesses in the same parking lot, refusing to give up the roof over my head. I rebuilt with my sister by my side. I figured out how to bake for my own shop out of a cottage kitchen because I couldn't afford a commercial oven yet.

None of it was luck. It was a system — the same one I used in hair, and the same one I used in coffee. Now I'm laying it out for you.
